HSE Policy & Philosophy

Jindal Tubular USA, LLC considers the protection of human Health, Safety and the Environment for all
its employees, subcontractors, customers and the community to be of primary importance. The overall success of the HS&E program is based on the following policy and philosophy:

• Management Commitment and Accountability: Management is committed to and accountable for protecting employees, assets and the environment. The protection of employees, assets and the environment shall be made a priority during all planning, operations, maintenance and construction activities.
• Employee Participation and Accountability: Managers and supervisors are accountable for the actions of their subordinates and will always reinforce safe work behaviors. Employees are also accountable for their actions and are responsible for stopping and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, and for following JINDAL TUBULAR USA HS&E policies and procedures.
• Compliance: JINDAL TUBULAR USA will comply with all Health, Safety and Environmental regulations, codes and standards, and will develop and enforce procedures that provide instruction to all employees identifying their responsibilities for meeting these requirements.
• Training: JINDAL TUBULAR USA will provide training to ensure understanding of good HS&E practices, company procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Continued Improvement: JINDAL TUBULAR USA will strive for continuous improvement in its HS&E performance through regular review of its objectives, targets, programs, policies and procedures.
• Company Philosophy: JINDAL TUBULAR USA is committed to preventing all Health, Safety and Environmental incidents and has adopted the philosophy that all incidents can be prevented, all operations must be performed safely and with minimal environmental impact, all employees have the right and responsibility to stop any work they feel may be unsafe and working safely following JINDAL TUBULAR USA policies and procedures are conditions of employment.
